All the goodbyes and trying to hold it together, be strong... not cry... so we say goodbye to too many loved ones - Ethan is throwing up as we check in - we get to the gate - wait - board with business class and, wow, do they now how to treat the passengers up in the front of the plane. As we take off and watch out the window, Dylan says, "Goodbye America" and that is when it hits me. The uncontrollable face contourting weeping.
Goodbye is not sweet sorrow. It is just plain sad. I miss everything already.
