The Souqs

Local markets are called Souqs here. This photo was taken at a souq, but it gives you westerners a chance to see what I see everyday. See all the black in the background? It's everywhere, kind of a sea of black on this island...

Wisdom from Luke

At Kayan's Birthday Party we were on top of a roof about 16 stories high. Luke had to pull a chair up to the edge and look over (of course). So I went to stand next to him and said, "Do you know what would happen to you if you went over this edge?" and to my suprise he said, "Yes." So I asked what he thought would happen. He said, "I would have a lot of owies."
